Multiply the Blogging Luck 10 Times (repost!)

Re-posted!

Kabayan Junction is my personal blog of an Overseas Filipino Worker or OFW, this has been my outlet of frustrations as a Pinoy away from home since early 2006. This blog hosted free by Blogger for more than three four ears (last blog post was 2010). It has been 5 years since i revisited this post.

Blogging has been a good frustration outlet though i don't write well but i still managed to post 200 plus articles (225 to be exact) most of which are non-sense jokes or blabs of what i think around that time crazy things and expressing my personal opinions of interesting issues. I also made a lot of blogger friends many of them are OFW bloggers as well, some blog for fun for a start but most of them evolved as pro-bloggers who makes money online. Believe it or not!

Goodbye is such a hard word!

TatayGoodbye Poem

You’re a man of a few words but your action showed how much you cared
Your firm decisions and humility are carved within our personality
We’re so sad of your passing, it’s not fair that we lost you so sudden
Never again will we hear you laugh, Never again will we see you smile
It's just so hard to say goodbye, we can't help but to break and cry
Please watch over us with your love
We will remember all the good times we had
We will remember your memory and good advise
Even though we are apart, you'll live on within our hearts
Goodbye, but say not in grief 'you are no more' but live in thankfulness that you were'
Though you’re gone you left a treasure that filled our heart
Your memory will be with us forever, Thank you and goodbye.

Complaining That Your Job Suck is Healthy

A quote on complaining from Woopidoo quotation reads "Statistics suggest that when customers complain, business owners and managers ought to get excited about it. The complaining customer represents a huge opportunity for more business". This is why it is correct when i said it is healthy to complain, but what the author Zig Ziglar says that the business owner and managers get excited about their customers complain, not an individual complaining on his situation or current job.

HR experts say that complaining employee is not health for the business. When employees complain their productivity and performance is affected expressly or implied. This result to backlog on outputs, accumulating and increasing the tension affecting other employees. Like a whole in a ship sinking it to the depths of the sea.

Feels Good to Be Home

Whew! 22 hours of flight schedule including 7 hours of stopover and the 9 hours direct flight, i could still feel the pain of sitting on an economy class flight, but who care what's important is i'm home again after almost 2 years of leaving alone in an unfamiliar place, away from the comfort of what i called mother land, Philippines.

Peaceful OFW LIfe

After another high profile crime committed by foreign worker or expat worker, Pinoy expat working and living in this part of the middle east can't help but be compare to other nationality.

But how are we OFWs differ? One thing is sure, the feeling of ease of being a Filipino is felt once more by many of our Kabayan. Life as an OFW is peaceful once more.

Personally i've only experience it again just recently after almost two years of my stay. The first was when i arrived at the airport (first timer eh) the immigration attendant ask if my nationality is a chinese (chinito kasi) i said Filipino, he stamped entrance to my passport right away, unlike the other nationality queued behind. The recent is from ordinary locals that i came long with to the elevators or taxi, telling Filipino kuwais or very good with their hand signing very good (thumbs up).

Exhausting TV Series

Every night after daily news Filipino family are treated with loads of tagalog TV series that entertain Pinoy viewers. An all in one package of tv shows from drama, comedy, suspense, adventure and action from the hottest celebrities and biggest network. This started way back as i can remember and from then on it seem the theme has not changed. Though the production is more lucrative with more technology involved plus the advertisement.

Yesterday, because it is a weekend in the middle east, i had a chance to see the shows along other Pinoy enthusiast (exclude me, just can't change the channels) from both of the main networks available. Don't get me wrong but we were not entertained by the show but with many Kabayans commenting and making jokes of the shows lousiness. Who would not notice the same story line of love triangle between the "bida" and "contra bida". The main characters are both naive of what the antagonist is doing and thinking. The supporting characters support the protagonist stupid decisions. The antagonist being so clever and wise. (this is why my son always wanted to play the bad guys when playing with his friends) How the characters are all placed in a straight line facing the camera. How the characters deliver a script "walang kabuhay-buhay" not realistic. How the action hero is bitten so many times yet survived and make a come back in the end. The super hero is sluggish as a turtle in it's action scenes. Or the same actors/actress but with different character name and title show "di naman bagay iyng role, pinilit lang kasi popular. These are the reasons why i don't watch back home this tv series.

It was really a good and bonding experience when Filipinos meet sharing views and thoughts about a specific topic especially for Filipino entertainments, politics and issues. It ease the pressure of homesick. It show how Pinoy think even in bad situation. Cool di ba!

Tomorrow was Yesterday - High School LIfe

Reminiscing the first time we did anything on our own is a memory to cherish. For those like me high school life cuff unforgettably. Who would forget his/her first time independency. Free from our parents protective gasp. The first step of molding the youth's, good or bad, personality and attitude to equips us for life ahead.

Still fresh from my mind the first commute i took with a jeepney, my mother had to accompany to the main road and tell the driver where exactly to drop me. The first ride to the yellow Marikina bus (i don't know if they are still around). Funny that i had to balance myself (the bus was in motion) to get to the driver and give my fare only to be told that i had to pay the fare to the conductor. Amusing to recall this first simple experience but meaningful to recap as we mature.

This is the time we unknowingly experiment our feelings with our first "barkada" (dabarkads), first crush, first kiss, first "ligaw", first heartbreak (di pa applicable sa akin totoy pa ako nun eh) or to take the first "bawal" like first beer drink, first cigarette or first rumble. Good or bad this is the first to most of youngsters.

What's more unforgettable was the good life back then, no pressure from life's hardship (though many like me have financial difficulties). Life was as simple as kids growing up. "Nakakamiss'!

After almost two decades what happened? Where are the classmates we first trust and confide. I don't know about you but for me after bumping to a page in friendster (Roosevelt College Lamuan). I located some and are still back home in Marikina while other are OFW's or immigrants like me. Nice to see you again guys!

For those coming from the same alma mater batch of 92 please leave a comment and i'll be happy to link you to the friendster page specially for 4Mboni students.

Optimistic Thinking Challenge

Opposite attract just like the negative and positive magnetic pole, but for psychology experts like the secret modulators positive thinking bring positive outcome. The law in the universe..the power of your mind. Positive thinking relieve stress..less stress makes you a better person in all aspect, but what if your routine is feed up with all kinds of problems...can you still be optimistic. This is the way optimistic think.
  • "puyat" or lack of sleep due to work and early wake-up - bare in mind "mas mabuti na walang tulog kesa walang gising" ("dami na actors ganito ang fate" :-)
  • underpaid yet overworked - be happy for you have a job...Philippine have a big unemployment rate and "kelangan at pinagkakatiwaan ka pa ng company mo may pinatatrabaho ka pa sa'yo"
  • low salary - good that you only have to spend less...keep in mind that those earning more than you spends more and have huge "utangs" to credit card (wala ka nito) and loan provider (di ka ma-approve dito kahit mag try ka pa)
  • underweight due to overwork fatigue and long travel to work place - "swerte mo" others spend thousands of pesos to reduce...you don't
  • smokers on public places or inside PUV/PUB (jeepney) - smile at them it may be his last cigarette
  • boss with habit of always shouting to employee - think that it is the side effect of vasectomy "kapon na iyan eh" if the boss is a female - the side of effect of husband "na kapon" :D
  • gf/bf cheating - now you have a reason to replace him/her (for married couples this is not applicable but if you choose to...apply at your own risk)
  • pissed to a co-employee - remember he/she is also pissed on you...why would he think that way :-)
I can't think of any more, but how about you how optimistic thinker you are? Leave your thought by commenting and i'll be happy to publish them out! :-)

Winter Wonderland

It's a cold winter in the middle east..some parts even rain snow. But not here where i stay, the lowest recorded is zero degree, that is the freezing point but with no snow, yet. Never the less the winter season for new comers like me is a new experience...unlike in the Philippines. It's a beautiful breeze in the morning of cold winter air. Sarap! But what's more wonderful is Kabayan Junction's feed jumping from 20 subscriber to 4,321 for only two days. Wow! Really wow! What have i done to deserve this! (reality check, please!)

Ok, back to reality, i know this won't happen in just a span of two days (plus the fact that i'm a lousy blogger :0 oo naman cya oh!) Anyway, after buzzing lestat of ofwlayf my suspicion came to a halt, it's true there is a hoax. Well not really but a glitch with feedblitz transition of reports to feedburners.

Sayang naman! But i'll reach that feed someday with your help and subscription as a reader.

"Bastos Daw"

BASTOS IS IN! This is the niche many sites including PinoyAmbisyoso monitize, why because of boybastos.com's popularity and the fact that sex sells. I'm not a supporter of porno sites nor against them. What i dislike is the moral impact of such sites, specially to minors (you know my side now).

Though porn is a lucrative business, job, niche and specially internet sites. The damage it bring to those expose at a young age is irreversible if unguided properly. Philippine government law makers are creating stricter law for violators but what can they do if the site if hosted on countries that allow porn sites. What Philippine law maker should do is to regulation and give guidelines for porn site owners. Since this is lucrative business huge taxes can be generated out of site owner earnings. This fund can be use to fight those that violate the law such as child exploitation and human trafficking.

We can't deny the fact that porn sites exist and the more our government stricken them, browsing and internet surfing for porn gets more and more challenging :-) Don't give that naughty look!

One example is Saudi Arabia! Porn site are filter out centralize, blocking porn sites, even url addresses that have double meaning or meaning related to porn, sex or even to the bastos word and even popular men magazine such as FHM, where is the excitement now!. Yet, many of their female citizen complains about their husband accessing and getting addicted to such sites. If the can still access it even with a centralize filter program what more can our government do since we don't have this kind of orderliness. Where do our government start the campaign to fight online pornography? Do we just leave the campaign by calling the attention of internet cafe owner to provide filtering software or the parents to monitor their children online activity? While many of our politicians brag about fighting this bastos sites (boybastos.com) or porn sites they are not making a sincere intention, they just making publicity out of it!

Now, where to we stand? Bastos ba...oi Bastos daw!

Find Work Abroad the Conventional Way

Have you read the previous post "how to start a new" and "don't be left behind" to find work abroad! Here is another way to find work abroad the conventional way.

While i prefer the comfort of internet searching still the most effective and successful way is to walk in to recruitment agencies for employment abroad.

Where to find the recruitment agency? It's better to first make a list of job prospect, browse the sunday issues of Inquirer and Manila Bulletin (they have a huge list every sunday) Once you have the list of your prospective jobs. Locate the recruitment office, the ads of this recruitment agency have their address, but first make sure the recruitment agency is accredited by POEA. Yes! its time to visit the office POEA to make sure that the agency is authorized and have not pending suspension cases with POEA. Just fill-up the form for details of the recruitment agency and get the result in just a few minutes. To get the complete details of your agency check out this directory from OFW Guide. This is just a list the official accreditation will come from the result of your inquiry at POEA.

The main purpose while scouting for employment abroad is to not fall victim to illegal recruitment, don't believe word of month or brochures circulating offering high salary, bear in mind that these company importing expat worker want to reduce their work force salary, thus will give less pay for expats. How to avoid this illegal recruiters...read POEA's tip.

One example are our nurses, the principal countries citizens receives four times the salary of our most experience nurses. Can you believe that! (This is not a general statement as others received salary as the countries national born citizen, but the catch is this, that the country giving equally pay empose high taxes). Where will you go! The best is to work....save....become an entrepreneur to our own country. Return the favor to our mother land!...(period :-)

A less 1 (A-1) Pinoy

Been an OFW for almost two years now and i have meet many of our kabayan, that i will never meet back home, why? Because they're working abroad half their lives.

While many still possess the traits of Pinoys to be proud like our cheerfulness, kindness, hospitability and humbleness. Yet there are also many Pinoy contradicting this good character. Worst is they amplified this bad trait. Like crab mentality, gossipy, arrogant and territorial approach to new comers. The "pakikisama" is overrated, it's hard to penetrate in to the barkada if you won't agree to all, disagree to one and the rest will close out on you. Most horrible is that they keep track of what you do and tell every one they knew about it! Shame!

The best thing to do is to influence those who still possess the true trait of a proud Pinoy and inspire others Pinoys to remember why we're special and above from the rest of the world.

I'm Tagged - 8 Things About Me

How well do you know the blogger that own the blog your reading? Most bloggers want anonymity specially bloggers like me who is not used to spot lights. But as a blogger i have accepted this drawback of blogging as I'm tagged by Lestat of OFW Layf and Kuya Jaywalker of Pedestrian Observer to continue the chain of sharing the 8 random things about me.

The rule of this tag are:

  • Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
  • At the end of the post, a blogger needs to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
  • Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Second Chance - Deleting my 1st Blog!

They say "Love is sweeter the second time around" but would be better life could have a second swing.

Now it's possible, well virtually. With Second life a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents. (yes residents) It's free but and upgrade to a premium account would allow you to buy property build and design your own house and become a full time resident. (create what ever you want) The best thing is you can also meet people. Once a resident you can retain the rights to their digital creations, you can buy, sell and trade with other residents. You can also log-in for free and have a look around.

Like me (well not about second life) but second chance for my 1st blog. I created it Jan/07, (this is my first baby) since i'm a newbie i tried to write the progress of my quest to the blogging world, but the competition is so stiff that i abandon it. I did not take it to seriously only after 3 months after reading tons of tutorials from gurus. Ranging from free to paid even to scam. Good thing i stumble upon marketing expert Ken Evoy, he told me to leave this blogging and marketing topic to the expert and that's what i did. Anyway since second life or second chance is virtually possible i'm deleting my first blog: Akino Online Money Making Progress and posting the 6 entry i made here at Kabayan Junction. Hope you like it. (i'll still continue my blogging progress here in Kabayan Junction). I still have two other blogs i will delete and post a second chance here at Kabayan Junction. :inlove:

From my Online Money Making - (An Honest Progress)

My history

Life is so simple; after graduation I immediately got a job in a small company and performed it well, because I was promoted regularly. What more can I ask for, 6/7, 9-10 was my life. Six days a week, nine to ten hours a day, was my routine for years. This halted my progress; because I was believed that what I’m doing is gratifying.

This was my mindset and life for a long time. But as the year progress I became a frustrated worker. I felt like there is an empty part of me that I missed to accomplish, and this is our nature.

As a human being we desire; we yearn for things of this world for satisfaction. In doing so we frustrate and bore our self in doing things that can’t fulfill this need. This is the reason I decided to change my career path.

But what are the most indemand and high paying career?

High paying job.

What are the careers that pay’s well?

Is it the licensed professionals earning big and are successful in this life? Will the Lawyers, Engineers, Doctors, Accountants, PH degree holder and others are earning enough?

What if your not one of the list of high earning professionals? Is it the end?

It’s not!!!

Yours truly is not a licensed professional, only earn enough, but has the dream and drive to succeed in life. I have tried everything, even got into networking and retailing, but still not enough.

Then, while using the internet my friend forwarded me an email about a topic on how to make money at home from internet. I knew this is a fast growing industry and many are saying that companies are making billion of dollars each year. I thought why not take advantage of this fast rising trend.

I research, read and learn as much as I could about online jobs there is in the market. I will list down some of the markets in demand home generating income next time.

2 kinds of online business product

The internet is the next big thing in communication, information, technology and even in business. Forecasts are saying that company business will not survive and continue if they will not associate with online market. But, is this a reality?

As the trend of some big product line and huge companies, internet will become a big factor to strengthen the business world. In the future this will be the foundation of every business. The internet can expand and open the market share of a new product. The accessibility and high-speed is its main advantage.

What are two kinds of online product?

These are the (1) tangible products and (2) electronic products.

Tangible products are actual product that needs shipping to the buyer’s location. The world will never be the same because with online market. A particular country product can be advertise and sell to different part of the world. Mainly the primary basic need of people and others like, handicrafts, furniture, and jewelries.

Hence electronic products are intangibles like software and e-books. The publishing industries are proposing for online circulation of their products. If these materialize we can expect our newspaper and monthly magazine not from our doorstep but on our electronic mail box.

Electronic and internet is now shaping the future, better take the ride than to be left behind.

10 online money making ventures

What are the types of internet business possibilities?

I came across this possibility when a chat buddy sent me an email from his list of newsletter from different internet marketers. At first I was just curious if this is true, because my impression with internet is just a medium of advertisement, information and communication. It never crossed my mind that people are actually earning from this technology. Maybe this is because I was searching and using the internet the wrong way.

This is why I got interest to making online money and ease-up my constant chatting. I even stopped sending and registering to different online job provider.

After reading many post and research regarding online money making. I came up with some of the most common online money making ventures. Some of them are as follows:

1. Blog
2. Affiliate Marketing
3. Pay Per Click Advertising
4 . Pay Per Lead Advertising
5. Search Engine
6. Banner Advertising
7. E-mail Marketing
8. Drop Shipping
9. Online Market Research
10. Online Survey

These are just of the some of the possible money making online for you and me.

After 2 weeks update

It has been a while since I last write something here. For two weeks I dedicate myself to reading most of the online money making articles in the net. Browsing and admiring the sites of online money making gurus that provide information, advice and insights. How envy I was reading their success and at the same time I’m encourage to their story.

Other sites I stumble into truly are good and sincere in helping online wanna be. But most of the sites I visited are just selling and promoting their product. All they do is lure people to easy money and a promise of huge return in the shortest time possible. They are the online gurus that tell and give presentations of hundreds of success stories; people who succeed thru their site. But is it really true, yes it is, but if it as easy as they would say it was, it would be so popular that you must have known about it long time ago, but you have not, since you’re still reading this article. Some even discourage free sites as a means of internet venture; it may be true since lots of provision with free site hold your progress in the internet success. But who can resist free; this free site could start your curiosity before venturing to the larger world. There many good products to promote and excellent to invest your time and money with the equivalent or much higher return.

Just like you and me, in our quest to uplift our way of living and finding success in all form, internet definitely is another way to reach this goal; we just have to learn the process in which the first achiever succeed and be aware of what we do. Be vigilant to all online money making online provider and guru. Online success to you and me.

Blog – a free online money making tool

Yes! This is true; there are many successful internet money makers who started from blogging. If you look-up their site they even share their ideas and experiences. Some even list the detail and statistics of their weekly earning. I sometimes think how easy it is to copy their success and follow their foot steps. But the reality is it’s not that easy. They don’t make that big just after a few days. Just like you and me they struggled; learn the basic and advance ways before they started to build their success, with some exception of course. LOL.

There are also some blog, free site, I came across that exaggerate but fall short and whines over a few dollars lost, funny but true.

Personally I have not tapped even the tip of what this bloggers statistics say. May be because I lack the knowledge and skill, but this won’t hinder me from my goal. I’ll won’t stop to learn and improve what I started. I believe that this first step would make me far as others have gone.

Good luck to you also.

Too Sexy Sexy Bad

Here is a real funny news of why to much is bad even if your too sexy. To sales ladies wearing snug-fitting summer clothes with the plunging neckline, please don't sit on drivers view of his back mirror. Why? Here is why from Reuter:

"A German bus driver threatened to throw a 20-year-old sales clerk off his bus in the southern town of Lindau because he said she was too sexy"

"Suddenly he stopped the bus," the woman named Debora C. told Bild newspaper. "He opened the door and shouted at me 'Your cleavage is distracting me every time I look into my mirror and I can't concentrate on the traffic. If you don't sit somewhere else, I'm going to have to throw you off the bus.'"

A spokesman for the bus company defended the driver.

"The bus driver is allowed to do that and he did the right thing," the spokesman said. "A bus driver cannot be distracted because it's a danger to the safety of all the passengers."

How Not To Please Your Boss? (Tagalog Jokes)

A fellow pinoy blogger wrote about the F-Word, my comment is that most Pinoy can't take a wild reply. Here i post from my inbox how to say the F-word to your boss the Tagalog way! :galit:

1. Ano!?

pwestong yan!

16. Ma'am, ang bait niyo po talaga. Sana kunin na kayo ni Lord.

17. And it is with utmost sincerity that I wish you the best of luck spending the rest of your afterlife rotting in hell at Satan's side where you belong.

18. Kung totoong nag-client call kayo patingin ng service report niyo!

25. Ang ganda ng resulta ng pagkaka-plastic surgery niyo, banat na banat! Lalo tuloy kayo pinagtatawanan eh.

26. If you really think it's that important, di kayo gumawa.

27. Sir, palit tayong sweldo!

28. Ang sarap po siguro ng trabaho niyo no? Biro niyo utos lang kayo ng utos samin. Ang laki pa ng sweldo!

29. Gusto niyo mag-trabaho naman for a change?

30. Do my work over the weekend?!?! At baket!? Sino kayo para utusan ako?

31. Ngayon na due ito? Eh di kayo gumawa!

32. Can't you see I'm goddamn busy?

33. If you need me, bukas na lang. May date po ako ngayon eh.

34. Asus!!

Ayaw niyo kasi makinig sakin.

39. Pwede bang sakin na lang position niyo?

What If Filipinos Dominate The World?

Good News Pilipinas (GNP) contributor Fr. Jess E. Briones wrote "A day without Filipinos". He imagine a day in the world without Pinoy "to be a quieter place". "Homes would be chaotic...no more housekeepers, nannies, caregivers, hospitals staff, nurse and caregiver". Industry will suffer...no more industrious staff to do many task and function. (view the complete post here) It's good to think that the world would not be a better place to live without a Filipino even just for a day. Hay! :sigh:

While reading about this makes me think "what if Filipino dominate the World?". Imagine the world turned, Philippine is the developed country. Say the Philippine (not middle east) have the huge oil reserved, have the latest technology (not Japan, Korea, Britain or America). Imagine foreign citizen in queue applying for a working visa or migrating. Will the world be a better world that it is now?

As a Filipinos, we are known for our hospitality and extended family living. Resourcefulness and industrious nature. Relax and funny attitude. With this can we say that the world would be bless with laughter and loving place to live.

Note: the advice of other international agency about Philippines security is not true, ask the foreigner who have stayed in the Philippines. How come they return and wants to stay or become Filipinos)

Relationship Lessons from my inbox. (Read on)

TRUST
is a very important factor for all relationships. When trust is broken, it is the end of the relationship. Lack of trust leads to suspicion, suspicion generates anger, anger causes enmity and enmity may result in separation.

A telephone operator told me that one day she received a phone call. She answered, "Public Utilities Board." There was silence. She repeated, "PUB." There was still no answer. When she was going to cut off the line, she Heard a lady's voice, "Oh, so this is PUB.Sorry, I got the number from my Husband's pocket but I do not know whose number it is."

Without mutual trust, just imagine what will happen to the couple if the telephone operator answered with just "hello" instead of "PUB".

NO POINTING FINGERS

A man asked his father-in-law, "Many people praised you for a successful marriage. Could you please share with me your secret?"

The father-in-law answered in a smile, "Never criticize your wife for her shortcomings or when she does something wrong. Always bear in mind that because of her shortcomings and weaknesses, she could not find a better husband than you."

We all look forward to being loved and respected. Many people are afraid of losing face. Generally, when a person makes a mistake, he would look around to find a scapegoat to point the finger at. This is the start of a war. We should always remember that when we point one finger at a person, the other four fingers are pointing at ourselves.

If we forgive the others, others will ignore our mistake too.

CREATING PERFECT RELATIONSHIPS?

A person visited the government matchmaker for marriage, SDU, and requested "I am looking for a spouse. Please help me to find a suitable one." The SDU officer said, "Your requirements, please." "Oh, good looking, polite, humorous , sporty, knowledgeable, good in singing and dancing. Willing to accompany me the whole day at home during my leisure hour, if I don't go out. Telling me interesting stories when I need companion for conversation and be silent when I want to rest." The officer listened carefully and replied, "I understand you need television."

There is a saying that a perfect match can only be found between a blind wife and a deaf husband ,because the blind wife cannot see the faults of the husband and the deaf husband cannot hear the nagging of the wife. Many couples are blind and deaf at the courting stage and dream of perpetual perfect relationship. Unfortunately, when the excitement of love wears off, they wake up and discover that marriage is not a bed of roses. The nightmare begins.

NO OVERPOWERING

Many relationships fail because one party tries to overpower another, or demands too much. People in love tend to think that love will conquer all and their spouses will change the bad habits after marriage. Actually, this is not the case. There is a Chinese saying which carries the meaning that "It is easier to reshape a mountain or a river than a person's character."

It is not easy to change. Thus, having high expectation on changing the spouse character will cause disappointment and unpleasantness.

It would be less painful to change ourselves and lower our expectations..

RIGHT SPEECH

There is a Chinese saying which carries the meaning that "A speech will either prosper or ruin a nation." Many relationships break off because of wrong speech. When a couple is too close with each other, we always forget mutual respect and courtesy. We may say anything without considering if it would hurt the other party.

A friend and her millionaire husband visited their construction site. A worker who wore a helmet saw her and shouted, "Hi, Emily! Remember me? We used to date in the secondary school." On the way home, her millionaire husband teased her, "Luckily you married me. Otherwise you will be the wife of a construction worker." She answered ,"You should appreciate that you married me. Otherwise, he will be the millionaire and not you."

Frequently exchanging these remarks plants the seed for a bad relationship. It's like a broken egg - cannot be reversed.

PERSONAL PERCEPTION

Different people have different perception. One man's meat could be another man's poison. A couple bought a donkey from the market. On the way home, a boy commented, "Very stupid. Why neither of them ride on the donkey?" Upon hearing that, the husband let the wife ride on the donkey. He walked besides them. Later, an old man saw it and commented, "The husband is the head of family. How can the wife ride on the donkey while the husband is on foot?" Hearing this, the wife quickly got down and let the husband ride on the donkey.

Further on the way home, they met an old Lady. She commented, "How can the man ride on the donkey but let the wife walk. He is no gentleman." The husband thus quickly asked the wife to join him on the donkey. Then, they met a young man. He commented, "Poor donkey, how can you hold up the weight of two persons. They are cruel to you." Hearing that, the husband and wife immediately climbed down from the donkey and carried it on their shoulders.

It seems to be the only choice left. Later, on a narrow bridge, the donkey was frightened and struggled. They lost their balance and fell into the river. You can never have everyone praise you, nor will everyone condemn you. Never in the past, not at present, and never will be in the future.

Thus, do not be too bothered by others words if our conscience is clear..

BE PATIENT

This is a true story which happened in the States. A man came out of his home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the truck. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment. When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital.

Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands. When the boy woke up from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, " Daddy, I'm sorry about your truck." Then he asked, "but when are my fingers going to grow back?" The father went home & committed suicide.

Think about this story the next time someone steps on your feet or u wish to take revenge. Think first before u lose your patience with someone u love. Trucks can be repaired.. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't. Too often we fail to recognize the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge.

People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever.

Don't be left behind! Be Ahead to Other Applicants

:astig:A familiar scene if you spend your free time on internet cafe surfing or playing online games. This scene for me is so familiar but not cuz i waste my free time by surfing or playing, but by using my time for better use. This is how i scout for a job/work abroad. I do better by submitting copies of copy and paste resume to various job vacancy available and to large job scouting sites. Instead of traveling (i hate driving long trip with my Kawasaki Aura 110) in the scolding sun i find the benefit of being IN or at pace with technology to benefit me.

While other go the hassle of traveling and falling the long queue applying to agency. I'm setting on an aircon i.t. worx cafe enjoying the benefits of being tech savvy.
